Brrr... It's freezing outside. Tonight would be a great night to just stay home in front of the fireplace and read a good book. Maybe a cup of hot chocolate.... That sounds really good right now. Let's see if I can fit it in into my calorie budget for the day.

Hot Chocolate - 110 calories




Total: 989 Calories

Day 4 - Wednesday, January 30, 2013

I thought I would try to change it up this morning. I liked the earl grey tea I made yesterday so much that I made a cup this morning. Can't believe it's already the middle of the week. I can't wait for the weekend! I have lots of things on my to-do list and I hope to knock off a few.

Earl Grey Tea with Splenda and creamer - 10 Calories




Lunch:
Moroccan chickpea tagine & couscous - 212 calories



Dinner:
Rava Upma with carrots and peas - 240 calories

I am pretty happy with my progress for the first couple days. But this counting calories business takes a lot of time and planning. I am hoping I can keep this progress going on for a while.

This is what I woke up to this morning. The parking lot was just one big icicle. At least the temps were fairly low at 31F. That's warm for January in Minnesota.

Sour cream with ranch seasoning - 45 calories
