In my opinion, this is the simplest most delicious way to cook Asparagus. I like the added lemon flavor to the asparagus.

Ingredients:
30 Spears Asparagus
1/2 Tbsp Butter
1 Tspn Garlic Paste
1 Tspn Salt
1 Tspn Pepper
1 Tspn Lemon Juice
Directions:
Blanch the Asparagus for a few minutes until they are cooked, but not mushy.
Drain asparagus and blanch in cold water to stop the cooking process and keep the bright green color.
Place the asparagus on some paper towels so they are dried.
Heat up a pan and spray with non-stick cooking spray
Add the garlic paste and saute for about 10 seconds.
Add the dried asparagus to the pan.
Add the salt, pepper and lemon juice.
Toss the asparagus until it it well coated in the seasonings.
Add the butter to the pan and wait till it is melted and toss the asparagus to coat with butter.
